Garden Description:

Five years ago this garden was a pile of builders rubble. Since then we have built retaining walls, put in planting beds and created a space which we love. This has been a challenge as this area suffers not only from the heat that we all have in the summer but also from quite severe frosts in the winter. This has, of course limited our choice of plants. Many of my artworks have found a home in our garden. They have been created from glass, mosaic and poured concrete. I love creating spaces in my garden where the colours of the artworks and the colours of the plants and flowers either complement or match each other and I enjoy moving some of the art around in the space to suit the planting. Most of the plants in the garden we have either grown from seed, propagated on site or given to me by friends.

DIRECTIONS:

Take the road to Poulades from Diellas in Gouvia or Lucciola Restaurant and follow the road to the children’s swings then follow the signs to The Art House approx. 1.1km. There is plenty of parking.
