Hilary Whitton - Ermones Wildflower Walk

Hilary is the founder of the Corfu Trail. She will lead the group on a beautiful walk from Ermones.

After setting off from Ermones, we climb the coastal hills (total ascent about 400 metres in length with a couple of steep parts). Our onward route is an undulating track through forest and olive groves, with fine views over the valley. We then descend to cross the valley floor and return by a mainly flat track through old woodland and finally through fields. Some parts may be wet underfoot. An optional lunch awaits at the wonderful Taverna Apomero, in the deep countryside of the Roda Valley.

Meet at 10.30 for 11.00 start. Duration of walk about 2 hours (lunch not included). Please indicate whether you will be staying for lunch at the terrific Taverna Apomero.

Please wear comfortable clothes and good walking shoes or trainers.
