This is a contemporary terraced hillside garden with mixed planting. Established 20 years ago, the garden is arranged on descending levels with contrasting moods. A wide terrace with an infinity pool has a 180 degree view over the hill and sea to Albania. Smaller patios adjoin the house on different levels to provide shaded spaces. Formal planting closer to the house gives way to minimally managed natural growth and wildflowers where the garden meets the olive groves. Rows of citrus trees planted south of the house and, lower down the hill, rows of lavender with fruit trees, evoke agricultural patterns but on an intimate scale. At the furthest distance above and below the house the olive groves are mown twice yearly to encourage wildflowers.

Directions & Parking:
Come through the gate and park at the top of the driveway because it is difficult to turn around at the bottom.
